[ѧÊõ·½Ãæ] Saint Thomas More is a great school for students who need good grades; because here, teachers are always willing to help, nurture, and strengthen students' academic ability. [Éú»î·½Ãæ] Saint Thomas More provides students everything they need like trips to Walmart, movies, the malls, etc; thus they even take students to mass every Sunday in order for students to pray and have a pure soul. [ÉêÇë·½Ãæ] Currently at Saint Thomas More, we have 4 Chinese students and they are all great people. They are always willing to share their cultures to other students to expand their knowledge. [ס¼Ò·½Ãæ] Saint Thomas More is a boarding school so students live in dormitories provided by STM. [¿ÎÍâ»î¶¯ºÍÉçÍÅ] Saint Thomas More is a basketball school so every students that come to STM would have a chance to learn and play basketball against Division 1 basketball players. Thus they even have a soccer team, football team, tennis team, etc. Saint Thomas More also has clubs like music club, art club, chess club, etc for students to show their talents to the school.

[ѧÊõ·½Ãæ] The course is challenging, there are a variety of courses to attend that will complete the asset of a student. The teachers are nice and enthusiast, with a lot of energy and is always ready to teach. In the more challenging classes, even when you are behind, the teacher will always make you time to help you catch up. [Éú»î·½Ãæ] The dorms are okay. Food is good for most of the time and the cafeteria occasionally serves Asian dishes too. School contacts parents with an online report card that is pretty useful. There is a lights-out time after 10:30 pm [ÉêÇë·½Ãæ] Chinese students are a big part of STM's community as the school accepts a wide range of students from around the world. That is one thing that makes the school stands out is its diversity so Chinese students will not feel like they are the minority or being left out. [ס¼Ò·½Ãæ] Boarding, bedding and food are by the school. It is isolated from the outside so safety is guaranteed. Weekend trips are a big part of the weekend as the school will drive a bus to take the students out for many activities. [¿ÎÍâ»î¶¯ºÍÉçÍÅ] There are clubs like outdoor clubs, music club or chess club and occasional donations/fundraiser to help the community. Sports are mandatory and there are many to choose from like soccer, tennis, basketball ect.

[ѧÊõ·½Ãæ] For non-American students, STM provides a good ESL program that has proven to increase scores. They push students to read, write, and increase their language skills to a higher level. They also have a college preparation course that helps students research colleges and universities so that students can find and go to the best schools possible. [Éú»î·½Ãæ] The school has a good structure that helps all students understand basic living expectations. With study halls at night and time planned for teachers to be available, students always have access to academic help. In the dorm, most students create a community based on respect and try to live in a clean environment. During breaks, there is access to trains, buses, and airport pick ups. Faculty members always help to provide easy transportation. They also have an international student coordinator that helps with passports and planning. [¹µÍ¨·½Ãæ] The school is perfect on communicating. I haven't heard of any difficulties. [ÉêÇë·½Ãæ] Application is simple but there is a lot to do. But, admissions is always available to answer questions, sometimes even late at night. If you have trouble, but email or call. They always respond quickly and have never heard of a complaint.

[ѧÊõ·½Ãæ] the homework at this school isn't hard they give u the amount of homework to do for a night and it isn't that complicated. [Éú»î·½Ãæ] At this school it is very easy to shop the school gives trips to shopping places and also they give a place for you to get your snacks and food and there is a bedtime. just so your not up all night and they just wanna make sure you get a good sleep. [ÉêÇë·½Ãæ] there are people who come from china and we have no problem with them we give them the respect they should receive. [ס¼Ò·½Ãæ] yes there is a campus with dorms for the students to live in and on long breaks your kid can return home. [¿ÎÍâ»î¶¯ºÍÉçÍÅ] the sports at this school is very good they have common sports like football,soccer,basketball,tennis and more and the sports we play are very competitive.

[ѧÊõ·½Ãæ] I have two sons at the school. They are both challenged and get a lot of personal attention in the small classes. They have a relationship with the teachers and the administrators of the school. [Éú»î·½Ãæ] Both of my kids enjoy life at the school. Communication is excellent between the faculty and the parents, so if there are any concerns or questions they are addressed quickly and satisfactorily. Teachers have the best interests of the students at heart and are always available. There are evening study halls that are strictly monitored and supportive. All of the students live on campus, so it is a very closed community. There are plenty of opportunities for off-campus activities. [¹µÍ¨·½Ãæ] Very satisfied overall. Parents can check student grades and assignments online and the grades are updated daily. Every student has an advisor who communicates regularly with the parents. Usually, there is more than one teacher or coach who knows the parents and can speak directly with them about the child's progress. The school is very strong in athletics, particularly basketball and football. There are also a lot of students with talent in art and a strong art program which caters to them. Overall, it is a very diverse community which is accepting of people from all over the world, with all different beliefs and cultural backgrounds. There are a lot of changes happening here due to new leadership and the school is very receptive to parent concerns. [ÉêÇë·½Ãæ] We had to submit transcripts, teacher recommendations, and test scores. An in-person interview is required, but also via Skype or WeChat. English and other test scores are also used to help prepare the school for the student and his individual needs and interests.
