Fairfax High School fosters a community of diversity and potential. Fairfax High School will lead Los Angeles Schools in graduation rate, career preparedness and college acceptance. Schoolwide Learning Outcomes: 1. Students will demonstrate academic competence in all subject areas, with particular emphasis on language arts and mathematics literacy. 2. Students will demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, think critically, collaborate, do research and use technology (in order to prepare them for success in the 21st century). 3. Students will demonstrate personal responsibility, respect individual differences and participate in school, civic and community life. 4.
