Damien High School, a nationally recognized institution, is celebrated for its academic excellence and dedication to developing the talents and potential of young men. This is an amazing school with really helpful faculty and teachers that help a lot with schoolwork and even have tutoring available on some days. Moreover, their sports are really good especially for students that look to play competitively in college. Even more, they have a plethora of different clubs that you can join which can satisfy anyone’s interests.

I had a wonderful time at Damien back in 2015. Teachers were all friendly, class choices was way more than enough, and the robotics club was absolutely phenomenal! Regardless, this was where everything started for me and this was the school that got me into UC Berkeley.

Damien high school is a good school if you are finding a school that has good academic and athletic curriculums. They offer a lot of courses such as AP IB, or honors. This school is also good in terms of college preparation.

As an international student and alumnus, I had a wonderful time at Damien high school. The school offered various classes, including numerous AP classes, that prepared me for college (now at UCLA). The school also boasts a diverse and competitive athletic program. The teachers are very supportive of students and genuinely care about them both academically and personally. I look back at my time at Damien with great fondness and reminiscence. Go Spartans!

Damien High School truly set the foundation for my success. The school offers an impressive range of AP courses that challenged me academically, while the dedicated college counselors were instrumental in guiding me through the college application process and helping me explore career paths. As a band member, I experienced some of the best years of my life—performing, bonding with friends, and growing as a person. Being part of the band was a standout experience that played a key role in strengthening my college applications. Now, as a dental student at USC, I look back with gratitude for the opportunities Damien provided. With its strong academics, diverse extracurriculars, and supportive community, Damien High School truly prepared me for success.

As a parent of a 2021 graduate, I can confidently say that Damien High School provided an exceptional experience for my son. The college-prep curriculum, with its challenging AP and honors courses, helped him build strong academic skills for university. The teachers are dedicated and invested in students' success. What stood out most was the sense of brotherhood and community, where lasting friendships and peer support thrived. The athletics program is top-notch, complemented by strong offerings in drama, band, and visual arts. I've had an amazing time at the school with great mannered students and wise teachers and faculties at Damien High school.

I was surprised to find Damien on the list here. Damien High School is known to be reliable, healthy, education oriented, and fun.
During High School, both International Student Director (Emily) and amademic advisor were very helpful on choosing effective class for my target schools. Consequently, I was able to attend one of my target schools, UC Berkeley.
Students are generally nice and accepting to different cultures.
Also, for parents, it is nice to know that both the school and the neighborhood are safe and drug free.
Lastly, Damien's school cafeteria is very yummy compared to other high schools!!

Damien High School has been an incredible experience, and I am beyond grateful for the time I've spent here. As a college preparatory school, Damien has provided me with more than just an education it has shaped me into a better individual.One of the greatest things about Damien is the sense of community. Being involved in school activities and getting to know others has been the best decision I’ve made here. The opportunities at Damien are unlike those at many other schools, from leadership roles to academic challenges that push us to excel. The faculty and staff are truly dedicated to helping students succeed, and their guidance has been invaluable in preparing me for college and beyond . As a senior at Damien High School, I can confidently say this has been an incredible experience. The academics are amazing, and the teachers are supportive and dedicated. I feel that my relationship is much stronger with my teachers because of the Catholic space we study in. Damien is rooted in Catholic values, fosters personal growth and unity.
